It’s great living close enough to work to have a runnable commute. It’s great that there is an off road route to get there.
It’s great when you get still, cold, clear days in winter. It’s great when the frost and early morning sunlight combine to create fantastic early morning views that make you stop and stare.
It’s great to arrive at work feeling alive.
At the end of the working day, it’s great to put on a head torch for the run home. It’s great to head off the road and onto the trails with only torch light for guidance.
It’s great seeing the torch’s beam reflecting in the eyes of rabbits and deer as you run through the darkness. It’s great watching the horizon transition through red, yellow, blue and black as daylight finally disappears.
Getting active in the outdoors. Isn’t it just great?
